Bio
Robert Ford is a senior fellow at the Middle East Institute. A career member of the U.S Foreign Service, Ford entered the service in 1985 and retired in 2014. Ford served as U.S. ambassador to Syria from 2010 to 2014 and U.S. ambassador to Algeria from 2006 to 2008.
