Rekha Nath

Rekha Nath is assistant professor in the department of philosophy at the University of Alabama and a visiting lecturer of philosophy at the University of Melbourne. She has previously taught at the University of Auckland and been a visiting fellow at the Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature at the University of Oslo.

Nath recently completed her Ph.D., entitled "What's Wrong with Global Inequality: A Social Egalitarian Account," at the Centre for Applied Philosophy and Public Ethics based at the University of Melbourne. Her most recent publication is the chapter "Global Institutionalism and Justice" in Questioning Cosmopolitanism (2010). Her central research and teaching interests are in political philosophy and ethics.
