Rachel Simon Kumar has worked in the field of gender and development as a lecturer, research consultant and grassroots trainer for nearly ten years. Her most recent assignment was as a lecturer at the
Centre for Development Studies, University of Auckland, New Zealand. She is currently converting her doctoral thesis into a book manuscript.
