Peter G. Veit

Peter G. Veit works for the Institutions and Governance Program of the World Resources Institute and is a senior associate and regional director for Arica. For more than twenty-five years, Veit had advocated for envirnonmental rights and the democratization of environmental management in Africa. Veit currently focuses on government representation and citizen participation as forms of inclusion in environmental decision-making. His work emphasizes promoting legislative representation, broadening environmental procedural rights, and strengthening independent policy research.
