Nicholas Southwood is Junior Research Fellow at Jesus College, Oxford, and Assistant Professor in the School of Philosophy at the Research School of Social Sciences, Australian National University. He works mainly in moral and political philosophy, with a special focus on practical reason and normativity. He is the author of Contractualism & the Foundations of Morality, and articles in Ethics, Nous, Philosophical Studies, and elsewhere.
