Meri Koivusalo is senior researcher on health policy in National Institute for Health and Welfare, Helsinki, Finland. She has published on national, European, and global health and social policy and served as co-editor of the
Global Social Policy journal from 2005 to 2010. She is co-author (with Eeva Ollila) of
Making a Healthy World: Agencies, Actors and Policies in International Health (1997) and (with Jonathan Tritter, Eeva Ollila, and Paul Dorfman) of
Globalisation, Markets and Healthcare Policy: Redrawing the Patient as a Consumer (2009).
