Max Boot

Max Boot is a Senior Fellow in National Security Studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. He is also a weekly foreign-affairs columnist for the Los Angeles Times, a contributing editor to The Weekly Standard, and a regular contributor to The New York Times, The Washington Post, Foreign Affairs, and many other publications. In 2004, he was named by the World Affairs Councils of America one of "the 500 most influential people in the United States in the field of foreign policy."
