Gabriele Russo

Gabriele Russo trained in human rights protection and promotion at the Austrian Study Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution and participated in a number of OSCE missions in the Republic of Srpska, Slovakia, Serbia and Montenegro. In 1999, he joined the OSCE’s Kosovo Verification Mission Human Rights department and subsequently the Task Force for Kosovo, taking statements of allegations of human rights violations from Kosovo refugees in Macedonia. Russo later returned to Kosovo, continuing to serve for OSCE in various capacities until December 2001.
