Previously, she worked as a freelance journalist, and spent six months advocating for the mainstreaming of minority rights in development practice at Minority Rights Group International. She has written for a variety of publications in addition to The Daily and Sunday Telegraph, including The Times, The Financial Times, The Independent, The Guardian, and Conde Nast Traveller.
