Eva Erman

Eva Erman is a researcher and pro futuris fellow at Stockholm University's department of political science. She is also editor-in-chief of Ethics & Global Politics. Erman teaches and writes on political theory and political philosophy. Her books include Legitimacy Beyond the State? Re-examining the Democratic Credentials of Transnational Actors (New York: Palgrave Macmillan, 2010) and Human Rights and Democracy: Discourse Theory and Global Rights Institutions (Aldershot: Ashgate Publishing, 2005). S he is the author of several book chapters and peer-reviewed articles, including "What is Wrong with Agonistic Pluralism? Reflections on Conflict in Democratic Theory," (Philosophy & Social Criticism 35, no. 9, 2009) and "Conflict and Universal Moral Theory: From Reasonableness to Reason-Giving," (Political Theory 35, no. 5, 2007).
