Arthur S. Hulnick

Arthur S. Hulnick is Director of Undergraduate Studies and Associate Professor of International Relations at Boston University.
He is a veteran of more than 35 years in the profession of intelligence, including seven years as an intelligence officer in the US Air Force and 28 years in the CIA. Hulnick came to Boston University as a CIA Officer-in-Residence in 1989. He remained on the faculty as a lecturer after his retirement from government service in 1992, and since 2000 has been an Associate Professor with the Department of International Relations. Hulnick was one of the early pioneers in developing courses at the university level on strategic intelligence, and he has published numerous scholarly articles on the subject, as well as the books Keeping Us Safe: Secret Intelligence and Homeland Security (2004) and Fixing the Spy Machine: Preparing American Intelligence for the 21st Century (1999). |
