EVENT CLOSED
Carnegie UK Trust
Description
Carnegie UK Trust presents original research on the relationship between advocacy groups, citizens, and international organizations that regulate trade, markets, and consumer policy.
The Trust recently conducted a study on public attitudes in Britain, using the World Trade Organization (WTO) as a test case. It also measured citizen awareness of the organizations that influence the WTO and identified best practices from the leading organizations in the field.
The findings are vital for any professional working in advocacy, consumer policy, or citizen engagement.
Martyn Evans is the chief executive of the Carnegie UK Trust.
Melanie Leech is the chair of the Carnegie UK Trust and director general of the UK Food and Drink Federation.
Albert Tucker is an associate of Carnegie UK Trust and an independent consultant.
This presentation is part of the events and projects leading up to Carnegie Council's Centennial in 2014.
