CEO of the microfinance organization Women's World Banking, Mary Ellen Iskenderian has strongly defended the microfinance industry as it has undergone criticism in recent years. A tireless advocate of financial access, Iskenderian supports a variety of services beyond loans to encourage and empower women across the globe. Iskenderian developed her sense of global financial responsibility as senior manager at the World Bank and in various roles at ShoreCap International, Banco Caja Social, Corfinsura S.A., and the Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation.

Ethics Matter is a monthly series of town hall events with notable policy and academic experts. The events will be taped and distributed for broadcast on television stations across the country. A networking reception will follow the taping.

RSVP is required and seating is limited. The reservation deadline is Friday, March 9, 2012. Due to the studio recording, latecomers may not be admitted. Suggested Donation: $10.
