Mohammad Javad Ardashir Larijani
Description
Dr. Larijani is a senior advisor to the head of the Judiciary and Secretary General of the High Council for Human Rights of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Previously, he was a representative of the Majlis (Parliament) and a vice minister of Foreign Affairs.
He received his degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology in Iran, and then earned his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Stanford University.
Dr. Larijani is a member of a prominent political family in Iran; his brothers are speaker of the Parliament and head of the Judiciary.
