Description

In the second half of the 20th century, the United States engaged in the most ambitious and far-reaching construction of a liberal order the world has ever seen. But some argue that we are now witnessing the end of the American era.

Should the U.S. renegotiate its relationship with the rest of the world and pursue a more enlightened strategy—that of the liberal leviathan?
