Monday, September 13, 2010 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM

Supported by Hewlett-Packard, and by Booz & Company.
Description:
How do innovations make it to the market to have significant impact on societal sustainability? This panel, which features successful eco innovators from different types of organizations, will talk about their creative process, how their inventions have had an impact, and what a more sustainable society might look like.

Join us for this luncheon, which will kick off a year of programming on sustainability in partnership with our corporate sponsors as part of our long-running Workshops for Ethics in Business program.

Panelists include energy entrepreneur Shakeel Avadhany of Levant Power, sustainable architect Rick Cook of Cook+Fox Architects, and technology innovator Peter Hartwell of HP. Niko Canner of Booz & Company will moderate.

This event is part of the Council's second annual SEPTEMBER SUSTAINABILITY MONTH, which kicks off a year of events and resources on sustainability. Generous funding of the Carnegie Council's 2010-2011 sustainability programming has been provided by Hewlett-Packard and by Booz & Company.
