Jonathan Gage

Vice Chairman

Jonathan Gage's career in publishing has spanned roles as editor, international business journalist, and magazine publisher.

Most recently, he was the publisher of strategy+business magazine in New York, while serving as a director at Booz & Company, the international management consulting firm. He was also CEO and publisher of New York-based Institutional Investor magazine.

As a journalist, Gage has written and edited for media including the International Herald Tribune, the Los Angeles Times, Bloomberg News, Newsweek, The Washington Post, and Psychology Today magazine. From 1992–1999, as business and finance editor of the International Herald Tribune, he built and managed the worldwide financial reporting and editing staff of the Paris-based newspaper.

Gage is active in professional organizations including the Overseas Press Club, the Magazine Publishers Association, the Interactive Advertising Bureau, and the Audit Bureau of Circulations.

Gage received his B.A. from Brandeis University in Massachusetts with majors in politics and sociology.

First elected to the Board in 2008.
