
Thomas Donaldson is the Mark O. Winkelman professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and director of the Wharton Zicklin Center for Research in Business Ethics. Professor Donaldson has written broadly in the area of business ethics, values, and leadership.
Books that he has authored or edited include Ties that Bind: A Social Contract Approach to Business Ethics, co-authored with Thomas W. Dunfee; Ethics in International Business (winner of the SIM Academy of Management Best Book Award); Ethical Issues in Business, 8th edition, co-edited with Patricia Werhane; Ethics in Business and Economics, 2-volume set, co-edited with Thomas W. Dunfee; and Corporations and Morality.
He is a founding member and past president of the Society for Business Ethics, and served as associate editor of The Academy of Management Review, as well as a member of the editorial boards of a number of journals, including Business Ethics Quarterly. His writings have appeared in publications such as The Academy of Management Review, Harvard Business Review, Ethics, and Economics and Philosophy.
