Julia Taylor Kennedy

Julia Taylor Kennedy is program officer for the Carnegie Council's Carnegie Ethics Studio. She oversees the content of Carnegie Ethics Studio programming, including the Ethics Matter series and Workshops for Ethics in Business. Kennedy also programs and hosts the audio interview series Just Business. She started with the Carnegie Council in the summer of 2009 to create its predecessor, Advocates for Ethics in Business.

Kennedy comes to the Council from Yale University, where she earned an M.A. in international relations. A teaching and research fellow at Yale, Kennedy also received a research grant to study Brazilian migration flows to the U.S. and their effects on Brazilian development.

Before returning to graduate school, Kennedy was a journalist in public radio and print media. She worked for a variety of media outlets up and down the East Coast, culminating in a post as host and producer of a nationally-distributed public radio show, 51%.

Kennedy graduated cum laude from Northwestern University with a B.S.J. in journalism and Latin American studies.
