EDITOR'S NOTE
March was the fourth anniversary of the Iraq War, yet the violence continues with no end in sight.
In April the Council was honored to host Mr. Ali A. Allawi,
until recently a senior minister in the Iraqi government, who gave us a sobering and dispassionate insider's
account of the situation. He was one of many distinguished speakers over the last two months.
In addition to the topics listed here, other issues included American Muslims, business ethics, oil, Darfur, and North Korea.
See www.cceia.org for audios and transcripts.
On another note, the Council celebrated an important milestone in March when the website received its millionth visitor, the first time we have received a million visitors in one month. In fact, the March figure was over 1.1 million visitors--and thanks to you, our supporters, the numbers keep growing. Please note that we have added a feature, "email this page," so that you can email materials to friends and colleagues.
