Zhaohui Yu

Zhaohui Yu

Zhaohui Yu is professor and deputy dean of Shanghai International Studies University (SISU), College for International Business. She is responsible for international exchanges, strategic planning, academic program building, and international outreach.

She is also a member of the academic committee of China International Public Association (CIPRA). From 2011–2012, she is a Fulbright Visiting Research Scholar at Columbia University.

Yu's research and teaching focus on U.S. public diplomacy, government public relations, and intercultural communications. She completed a post-doctorate program on Corporate Social Responsibility at Fudan University, Shanghai, and was also a visiting scholar at Hongkong University, sponsored by Starr Foundation.

She is the author of Strategic Communication: A Study of American International Image building in the Middle-East in the Post Cold War Era (2008) and Introduction to Public Relations (2007).

In 2010, Yu received an "Excellent Female Faculty" award from the Shanghai Municipal Government.
